Here at Merry Jane’s Cannabis, we are huge fans of Bold Growth as a licensed producer and their products. From Bold Growth themselves, “Bold puts quality, consistency and integrity above all else.”
Recently, we had the opportunity to meet with a representative Cam Archer from BOLD Growth cannabis to talk a little bit about the BOLD brand, and what’s new for 2022.
BOLD is an independent company with origins in Saskatchewan. A group of friends founded the company with a passion for craft cannabis, and a strong dedication to quality small-batch growing.
“We deliver the best, most reliable cannabis products. Every time” is something Bold strives for when producing and distributing cannabis products. This promise of reliable product delivery may be due to the fact that Bold resides and started in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan just off the Yellowhead Highway. They sit on 222 acres of quality growing land and grow their cannabis both indoors and outdoors.
When it comes to BOLD’s cultivation processes, there is a high focus on “Small-batch, cultivar-specific rooms, hang-dried, slow-cured, and hand-finished cannabis.” BOLD grows out of a “58,000 square foot facility with a production capacity ~2,500kg per year.”
When asked about their flower-extraction process, BOLD’S representative Cam explains that they use “a proprietary hydrocarbon extraction system in the production process for our Diamond Dust isolate”
BOLD lives up to its name when it comes to its many unique cultivars which aren’t available from other growers, BOLD’s representative lists a few of their most unique cultivars; “Root Beer Float, Blck Cndylnd, Garlic Toast, and Do-Si-Dos Lemon G.” But most notably, BOLD’s Diamond Dust, which is “the first and only THC(A) isolate in the market.”
BOLD’s sincere craft approaches, and unique strains have granted them the Adcann Craft Beer of the Year award in 2021.

When asked what’s new for 2022, BOLD introduces “Diamond Dust 1g THCA isolate, Garlic Toast 3.5g, Electric Punch (limited) 3.5g, Blue Mlk 510 – and more to come!”

Root Beer Float – Bold – Root Beer Float 3.5g Dried Flower
Root Beer Float is a rare indica dominant hybrid created through crossing XXX OG and Vanilla Kush. Enter into a sweet hazy, earthy flavour with hints of lemon and pine aroma. Enjoy the classic Root Beer taste combined with frothy vanilla notes. BOLD’s Root Beer Float is hang dried, slow cured and dry trimmed by hand to accentuate the rich amber hairs and creamy vanilla trichomes.
Gelato – Bold – Gelato 3.5g Dried Flower
Nicely balanced with delightfully chill flavours. This sweet strain is a descendant of Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies giving it a fruity dessert aroma. Dark purple and frosty with orange tones, BOLD’s Gelato is hang dried, slow cured and dry trimmed. Gelato may sound like dessert, but it hits like a three-course meal.
